This is a collection of fourteen previously unseen pictures, the last group, that were painted in the early 1990's. Most of which have close links with my ceramics that was being made at the time. As before, some of the images are accompanied by a written introduction to set the scene. Hope you enjoy them and I value any feedback that you care to leave.

The Nature of Landscape
28. 'Spirit'.
This curious picture was spontaneously drawn whilst watching a secret archeological dig taking place on the hill opposite our house. It was later announced to have been an Anglo Saxon burial site (9th century), from where some interesting artifacts can now be seen on view in the local museum.
29. 'Woven Landscape' 5.
Through the use of textured paint, and emulating the scraffito techniques and applications used in my ceramics, as a way to explore new directions.
30. 'Winters Dream' 1.
Depth of winter in the orchard, when everything can seem so stark and barren. Anticipating once again the glory and recreation of springtime.

Some cosmic thoughts, conceived
as a large screen projection.

33. 'Nerve Sensations' 2.
An intuitive attempt to describe and understand my damaged nerves, and for me, one of the last paintings it was possible to do, but that's ok.
